Finishing up on New Zealand

Kaikoura, Picton, Wellington, Taupo and Auckland

Just saw I forgot to finish up the trip to NZ...
My last couple of worryless days in NZ were spent in Kaikoura and Picton.
Kaikoura is a nice little quiet place where you can mostly see sea wildlife. I went on a snorkling trip to swim with the seals, and they really come close up! Of course, no pics from the snorkling (water and camera...not a good idea!) but got some pics later on when my feet were back on the dry land...

this is the kindergarden for babyseals :)

I also made a nice walk around Kaikoura and saw a beautiful sunset.

Then I went on to lovely Picton and stayed in the Sequoia Lodge again of course! I did a part of the Queen Charlotte Track (8h walk) and here are some pics of the btf view!

Then I went on to Wellington and found out I needed some kind of new income... had a bit of a cashflow-problem there. Lucky for me it was just my bday :) so no worries (for some while anyway).

Still, had to watch the money so I went on to Taupo and stayed there for a couple of days without doing much...

like I said, not a lot to do

Then I spent my last two days in Auckland and did nothing special. Just hung around at the hostel and went for a wild goose chase of The Matrix Reloaded and Animatrix (on VHS!), but hey at least it was fun! Thx again Mark for that wonderful day ;)

And then I took the plain back to good ol' Syd...

great place..now u showed me the Great New Zealand so i have to do something for u now :)
Here is a tip from my side..:)
Light load Towels three packs are the only towel that is also a tool for the outdoors. Use it as a fire starter coffee filter, water filter, first aid supplement, wind scarf, sweat band and much more. Waterproof packaging covers each piece; that always ensures that the user will have a clean dry cloth.
Check it out at www.ultralighttowels.com
I can bet u wiLL find it Useful :)
